Can anybody recommend the most cost effective suspension setup exclusively for road use that will lower the car enough to clear speed bumps.
It doesn't have to be adjustable because that would be one less thing for me to play with and break:) but I'm open to any advice on the subject

or a set of standard shocks with stiffer lower springs probably about 200 cheaper

I'm running standard R33 V-Spec dampers with Trust Dowmax springs. This gives a really nice ride without banging and crashing, and I still have no problems with speed-bumps even with the addition of a very low front splitter

Thanks for that - It was what I was looking for.

BTW Are you running 18" or 17" wheels - I've been trying to understand Mycrofts 17" wheel thread from a while back and its set the old cogs in motion
