I'd want to change my HKS T51Kai BB turbo with an GTX42 or GTX45 for more power. Target is about 900/950ps on my tomei 2.8.

What is your opion about those GTX turbos. I saw that there is also a Vband housing option (same A.R. of my T51). In this case you think can i use my HKS vband exhaust manifold?

THks

easiest option would be to fit a t51r spl bb if you want to keep that manifold, I ran one and made about 840 crank hp.

or gtx4202r, you can get an adaptor to fit a twin scroll turbo to that manifold but I wouldn't bother, I think gt42 can have a tial housing.

I think that should bolt straight on if it will clear the head.

her ya go gtx4202r 1.02 ar v band turbine housing

For my power goal with no crazy boost the right turbo is the GTX4202. I know about SPL but it is an old turbo; the GTX42 have a better spool speed.

I wrote to Tial factory and they confirmed me that their housing are 100% compatible with HKS manifold.
