Depends on what you want out of your car. If you like nice topend power, then they do just fine. If you are anti-lag, go somewhere else. Old technology, but bulletproof. Also keep in mind that my t88 performs best between 1.3-2.0 bar. So, if your engine isn't built for that kinda boost, maybe not the best choice....

All turbos get hot, and a t78 isn't water cooled (I don't think it is). An oil cooler for this type of set up is a better choice. That, and lots of heat shielding to keep parts from baking....
