Time to plan things.

Not for the first time R33 SKY is taking a bride to her wedding, this time on Sat 5 July.

So, are there plans for socialising after the event on Sun Nite. If so we'll book a hotel? This would be a strictly sensible evening.:chuckle:

(BTW Mr Ludgate, I saw your latest gearboxbox on the bench last week in sunny Oxted).

Very nice to see you J & M

Now the event approaches fast, any thoughts about convoys?

We'll be coming up from the sunny South on the M1. This time I'll be bringing a hangover from a wedding on Saturday.

We've often met up with the GTROC crew at Toddington Services.

Any other ideas for the Southern convoy?
In the absence of any other proposals we could meet at Toddington services at 8.00 'ish.

We have a lot of GTROC members attending and it is hoped the stand is big enough for late arrivals.:)

...... If you have no intention of taking your car on track please park in the back row (nearest the fence/track).
I think GTROC Stands should be fully populated at least 30 minutes before the event opens to the public and anyone rolling up later when they feel like it should be sent to the public car park.

Additionally, this would enable the Stand to be organised in a way that assures track participants easier access to track.

Might be nice to at least get some info before making 'rules' considering the distance being travelled by some?
Only info I have is tickets will be available at the gate at 9am which is a 4 hour journey for me if the traffic is favourable...
Point taken Matt, but I've forgotten the number of very early starts made by me and a lot of other club members to fulfil Stand obligations. If the journey is too long in the morning then there is the old favorite solution - B&B - and that can be good fun anyway.

Look forward to seeing you at SP at around 11.00 :chuckle: but you'll miss breakfast in the Pod Cafe at 8.30.

Hey Mudflap (name?) I'm leaving Dorking at 6:15ish so with a good lick on should easily be to Toddington by 7:30...Are you going to start a "Convoy list"
Look forward to meeting up :)

Cheers
Louie
Good idea Louie.

I'll start a Southern Convoy list for SUNDAY based on a proposed meeting point at Toddington Services.

Now that we have Jeff's comprehensive joining instructions and advice we can debate the leaving time from Toddington. We normally get to Toddington early enough to have a coffee.

It would be good if we arrived in good time at SP so that the stand can be organised in the way Jeff requires.

Jack (although often called other things in the GTROC).:chuckle:

Jap Show Southern Convoy

It is suggested that a Southern Convoy musters at Toddington Services, Sunday 6 January. Exact departure time to be determined.

Here is a rapidly growing list for members to add their names.
