I'm sure most of you know this incredible RH9 car...it sits alongside the Jun Super Lemon as a piece of Skyline history. It still has lots of show/event stickers on the inside of the roof from it's time in Japan with Top Secret.
It became famous when it appeared in the below clip from Max Power's 'Beasts from the East' video (and the later Duke Skyline GTR DVD) where it clocked over 200mph through a tunnel in Tokyo.
I have a two page spec list which I put together for my agreed value Insurance policy with some input from various sources, but a highlight of some of the parts:
- Race spec Top Secret 2.7 SPL engine with Trust forged pistons, Trust H shaped con rods, Full Trust counter crankshaft
- HKS GT 3040 Twin Top Mount Turbos with Trust type C External wastegates
- Trust 4 layer Intercooler
- Top Secret SPL Sump
- Tomei Oil pump
- Nismo N1 Water pump
- Top Secret Pro Intake manifold
- Splitfire Coilpacks
- 1000cc injectors
- x3 Bosh fuel pumps & boot mounted swirl tank / cut off switch
- Top Secret Titanium drag exhaust (which doubles as an anaconda....it's loud and it's huge!)
- Top Secret Super KA1 suspension
- Nismo 2-way rear diff (4.11 ratio) and 4.11 front diff
- Getrag 6 speed gearbox with OS Giken input shaft
- OS Giken quad plate clutch with Nismo cylinder(s)
- HKS FCON V-PRO ECU with launch control
- Hurst line lock, HKS Grid Dancer 2wd/4wd controller
- Top Secret 'G Force' bodykit with dry carbon fibre bonnet and Nismo split rear spoiler carbon fibre blades
- Full repaint in Top Secret Gold
- Lexan rear screen
- Nissan Xenon headlights
- Stack dash (with the memory recall showing those big numbers) and various other dash mounted gauges
- Recaro Profi SPG Seats
- Cusco multipoint rollcage with doorbars
The ECU has two separate Tweenierob maps, one for SUL fuel and one for race fuel (which I never got a chance to use). The boost settings on the Blitz controller are:
1: 1.6 bar
2: 1.7 bar
3: 1.8 bar
4: 2.2 bar - for use with race fuel ONLY!
I did ask for a 1 bar setting but Rob told me to stop being such a girl !
Estimated power is around 800hp on pump fuel and knocking on the door of a 1000hp with race fuel.
The difference between this car and my old 560hp R32 is like night and day...I will always remember the first time Rob took me out in it, I had to sit down afterwards as my adrenaline was pumping and the only words I could use to describe it was "that thing's not right", much to his amusement.
The car has been in storage since November and will come with a fresh service, wax oyl and cambelt/tensioner by TR Racing.
Current Mileage is 17K Kms
Tax expires Aug 2010
MOT expires July 2010
It's obviously a serious piece of kit and as such I would like only serious enquiries please.
Viewing will be by appointment (once the car is ready) and I have asked Ozz @ HJA to deal with the sale on my behalf as I have no desire to drive it again.
Mods: It's a private sale, you know it's my car, he is just doing me a favour.
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a PM or speak to Ozz on 01279 450102.
Price: £27,000 ono including the 18" Enkei's and new 19" Volk TE37's (although am happy to negotiate without the TE37's).
Thanks, Giles.
