Well this morning my little baby was fully broken in ; ) Throughout summer me and a few trusted mates meet up early on a Sunday and go for a hoon across the countryside. Today was the first for the year and what a way to get started.

It was an early start, 0515 hour meet, but at least the roads were completely empty. The next 3 hours (Had a couple of little stops for a chat etc) was just pure fun. The back was certainly playful :smokin: The GTR was nothing short of AMAZING.

After 130 miles we finished off the hoon with an eat as much as you want brekkie :)

Every one said they couldn't believe how the GTR could change direction so quickly or how it just seemed to pummel the tarmac lol. I f*@kin' love it.

Fellas I know you all have the same and much quicker for a lot of you but I'm still absolutely smitten. One word to sum the car up this morning 'AWESOME'. Bring on the Non Res pipe tomorrow, although the boys said she sounded brilliant. You just don't hear it from inside when standard lol.

Anyone else have a run this morning?

Wow sounds like fun…
I am in the very fortunate position of owning a Nightclub and living 60 odd miles away from it… So every week i have to travel there leaving home at 10pm… Then (this is the best bit!) making the return journey at around 4/5am!
The journey is a mix of dual carriageway, fast A roads and some really nice B roads… I have done this route 4/5 times a week for 11 years so i know it quite well!
Over the years i have owned some amazing cars to do it in.. M3 CSL, Ferrari 360, Lamborghini Gallardo SuperLeggera.. etc.. Now its time to see how a GTR will handle it!! I sure it's gonna be amazing!
Now just need to go and find a decent GTR to buy!! lol
Hopefully i shall soon share your pleasure

Cheers fellas. It was great, in fact I was still buzzing from the run until tiredness set in a couple of hours a go lol. I only got 4 hours sleep before going out this morning lol.

TREG, there were 7 cars in total and included my mates Porker 996 Turbo running around 550 bhp, a Scoob Spec-C (I think that's what it is as it has the roof hatch lol), and a Focus RS running over 300 bhp. Some times the group size can swell but that is on the more sensible timed runs that get arranged on Pistonheads under the Kent section. On those we get anything from Porker, Fezza (Including an F40), Aston, Jap, and just about anything inbetween. Our mega early starts are normally small affairs and faster paced. The roads are normally clear then. First sign of any tarffic etc is around 8am so you can get some mega hooning in beforehand :chuckle:

The group I was out with this morning are all mates, well trusted and sensible when needed. Means that no one gets left behind and we have a fun packed, fast paced hoon ; )
