Reading the HyperRevs GTR magazine R32,R33,R34 I have noticed that Waste Sports seem to always go over the top with their Kamikaze Tuning(As they call it), is the Waste Sports [email protected] (twin GT3037S'@2.0bar) R33 GTR the most powerful GTR out their or does anyone know of a more powerful one?

In 1999 Spec running twin GT3240S's had 1150PS and ran the 1/4 mile in 8.916secs at 261.35km/h !

Thats damn quick in my books! I think probably even Mario will have problems topping that! Even Nagata couldn't beat it, and now in the 2001 spec with the 1465PS who knows what it will run!!

Hi SW2373,

Yeah which GTR HyperRev Mag are you referring to, I have vol. 15 and 58, I don't remember waste sports have such powerful GTRs............I could very well missed reading it though..........

In your profile, it said you are currently searching for a car, what happened to your M-spec?

I have HyperRev Vols 37 through 64, the waste sports R33 GTR in Vol 57 has the 1200PS one pictured.

Otherwise look at there website www.waste.co.jp !
Here is the pic from the site.
They refer to it as the Kamikaze R8.

Oh BTW I know only vols 57,58 and 37 I think are the Skyline ones and the vol 15 but I have been collecting them on all the different Japanese Cars.

Vol 57 R33 GTR is especially interesting as it has a section on 700+ Skylines..

My M-Spec I had to sell due to My bank revoking my loan as I am relocating to Germany, thats why I am currently looking for something to export, but without a loan most things I want are beyond reach, so am looking at later R32GTR, early non V-Spec 33, then non-Skyline cars RX-7 or Scoobie B4 RSK...

Still thinking... max is 2,500,000 Yen unfortunately... this has to include export and TUV etc... thats why non V-Spec unless I risk Auction Cars..

Any recommendations are more than welcome..

sw2373....I'll have to buy Vol. 57 now:D
BTW if you are interested, a used car dealer near my house is selling a 1990 R32 GTR with 71k kms, perfect condition for such an old car ...for 89 man. Alternatively there is a VERY nice MP R33 GTR V-spec with sweet gold BBS 17" wheels and 65k km selling for 265man.
I would personally look for a late R 32 V-spec or a VS2 if you are lucky...
Try http://www.zele-international.com ...actually you are better off phoning them as their car list is not uipdated frequently. They only deal in top GTRs....no dodgy auctions involved;)

There is an mpeg on Marios site of that R33 monster doing a 0-300km/h run. It manages a 14.72...and runs on koshiyoo power:D ;)

jesus wet...

I saw that vid yesterday of the 1268 BHP supra from Marios site and that was unreal.
9.6 sec 1/4 and terminal of 158!!! in 9.6 secs! Another 200 BHP must be mind blowing.
How do they do it? Does the engine have to be out after every run!!
Don't you just love the japanese.

SW2373... maybe you made a typo with the "Twin 3037S' making 1465ps". Those turbos are just too small (even in their largest standard A/R) to make those power numbers. The only Japanese tuner GT-R I'm aware of that comes close to 1465ps is Veilside's Drag GT-R making somewhere around 1365ps on heavily worked 3240s. Then again, maybe I'm out of date.

Regardless, any 4 figure power numbers are incredible from a little 2.6ltr - 2.8ltr.

Cya O!

I just reread the site and the measured PS was 1468PS, but there is a note which says that this includes slippage etc.. so actually the output is around 1175PS with the twin GT3037S turbos... but the 8.916secs that is damn quick..

Does anyone know of a web link to the HKS drag meeting results?
I have looked on all the HKS websites but can't find one.

Also DCD, here in Nagoya there is a GTR Specialist called Freed, they usually have around 100+ GTR's in Stock and so do Garage Defend. The problem is choosing there are so many R32's under 100man, some being very clean normal cars with no shaken (adding that to them costs 20,000 at Freed) some are heavily tuned and look to beaten up... As for the V-Spec 2 since they are so rare (Only 1200 or so) most garages don't have them and they tend to be more expensive than even the R33 GTR LM Limited of which around Nagoya there are 3 currently for sale at between 189man and 248man... don't understand it myself... Can anyone tell me what the actual difference is between the LM Limited and a Normal V-Spec, besides the blue colour, white dials and Recaros? I read somewhere someone on this forum had an LM Limited.

sw2373....Yes I know of Freed...they advertise in GTR magazine. They seem to offer a lot of choice but I would personally stay away from the overtuned cars. Shin had a LM R33 so I'm sure that as soon as he reads this he will list the differences for you:D
