Browsing through the Tamiya plastic model kit catalogue in my local model shop I came across various kits for the Skyline.

33's...34's...race cars...then I spotted exactly the one I wanted ... a GTR32 just like mine.
"I'll have one of these" I declared

"I'm sorry, sighed the shop owner, "They don't import that particular model into the UK. If you want one you'll have to get in touch with Japan and import one yourself"

....now where have I heard that before.....?

There's an americain site, think its www.skylinegtr.com, and they used to sell the R32 GTR road going model Tamiya plastic kit. Not sure if they still do but should be worth a look. I once enquired witht hem and they said they would send to the uk. The R32 is the only one I do not have now so need one myself too.

Well, I got in touch with the agent for Tamiya in the UK through the model shop and they are processing my order. Don't know what the additional cost will be but, what the hell...it can't cost much!

I'll let you know how I get on..

Try Gus (GU51 80Y) as he's into getting hold of all sorts of models from Japan etc.

as far as ive looked i can only get the 33 and 34
but iam not sure if the 32 will come out in the uk but if it does
ill let you lot know
