Dear guys/gals,

As the title says...it's time for me to pass the baton onto someone else to take on the role as Events Coordinator for the GTR OC

As one of the founder members of the GTR OC (non-Skyline driver then!) I took up my role with enthusiasm, passion & wanted to make the club a friendly and warm place for all Skylines. A place where people could meet, discuss car related or non-related issues and have a great time...:clap:

After the AGM, I won’t be carrying the GTR OC flag into 2007 . So if you would like to take on the role as Events Coordinator, then please let me know as soon as possible and I will fill you in with the in’s and out’s of the role.

I still have a few events that I’m involved with so don’t worry :clap: I’m not leaving anyone in the lurch. I will continue until I step down at the GTR OC Xmas party….come along and say good-bye to me!

I just want to say…cheers to the board members for taking me on and letting me do what I love doing…..organising..oh yeah and cars!!

I will still be a member of the GTR OC and gtr.co.uk, so I’m not going anywhere….just taking some time out.

I think if it wasnt for yours and Johns initial warm welcoming the first time i met you, i think i would be elsewhere.
Your kind and warm nature without prejudice has been the making of this club for the last few years. A tough job to fill, especially in your footsteps.

I don't think anyone will realise just how much you do for the club, until you are here no more! Helping you this past few weeks, and with the Kent/South East meets has certainly opened my eyes I can assure you! I think the club will be hard pushed to 'replace' you to be honest! But I do understand your reasons! Fantastic loads of luck with The Org! I am sure it will go from strength to strength with someone like you behind it!

I've been a GTROC member for 2 years & in that time i've witnessed just how much work & effort you put into the club...

I agree with everyones comments, especially PULSE's, Sue's & Paul's.

You will be a very hard act to follow Claire, plus I think they need to have an inbuilt dynamo like you as well

Gladly, NO.
And besides, i wouldn't be capable of filling that role anywhere near the level that Claire has. I dont think a lot of people realise just how much hard work it is, and pretty thankless too most of the time.

Your the first person I met from the GTROC, remember? On the docks waiting for the boat to the Isle of Man in 2004. Still the best trip yet. :clap: You made me so welcome. Thank you for that, I'll not forget.

It's a wonder that such a personality comes in such small packages. Your a star Claire, you'll take an awful lot of replacing.:bowdown1:

Having been on here for about 4 years i will join the masses in saying you will be sorely missed
I wish you all the best in future endeavours and i am sure you will still be around for us to chat to (You do have a skyline or 2 in the family )
