picked up my 32 yesterday..it was in the garage for the last 5 weeks and under the bonnet is gone very grubby looking.I have polished rocker covers and hardpipes etc..any suggestions on the best way on bringing them back up to a mirror finish again?

cool thanks lads:)What is the best thing to use for cleaning the grub off my polished parts before i apply the actual metal polish? petrol mayby?? no point polishing until the surface is clean first..!

I use Meguiars and get great results. This stuff:



I recently posted a thread about my salt damaged wheels with the following 2 pics:
The 1st one shows how bad they were as I'd only just started and you can clearly see its effect.
The 2nd shows the finished artical.

LOL - hey, if you're in the mood for a polished engine bay, dont forget the mirror polished covers for various parts available in the shop too :)
