a few weeks back i fited a new exhaust system to my r34 nur..
a MINES titanium down pipe and a MINES vx pro titanium 3 muffler..thats the exhaust sorted now its time to move on to the inlet..
my next step will be a nismo hard pipe kit and stainless inlet piping(just after the turbos).
im thinking of swaping the stock unit for a hks/nismo unit..
would there be any advantage..? is it much of a job..? or will it be just cosmetic..?
ps..i hope in the near futcher to be runing the can at around the 450 bhp (ish)

The standard intercooler is good for about 600bhp. Fitting a larger cooler will bring boost on a bit later. If your looking for 450bhp then i would spend the money else were if i was you :)

looks as thow its held on by 2x fixing bolts at the botom..
and held by 2x rubber mounts at the top..
with the inlet/outlet pipes on the sides..

if i was to remove the engine under tray/lower part of the front bumper..
intercooler fixing bolts/pipes is there room to slide it out from the underside..?
