Right here goes!!!

Last March whilst travelling on business I read about the new GTR and am hooked. I decided there and then I would order one and placed a deposit with a delivery time for end of this year. I have got and read every magazine, newspaper article there is. I've watched every you tube clip there is. I've read every google alert for the past 20 months (sad I know) and have just had delivery confirmed for Monday. Reading some of the posts on here I am pretty lucky. Well sort of.

A lot has changed in the past year and a half and after all this time I have had to make the decision to sell, and trust me it has been a bl*&dy tough decision Even my missus said "oh just get it and we'll worry about the money next year" until I replied with "Fine but we will have to sell one of the kids, my remaining kidney and the house". You have no idea how gutted I am. I drive to work and have imagined what it would be like driving my GTR every day.

So my post here is about advice on selling it. It is a 59 plate, black edition, black with black and red leather trim and sat nav so top spec. The question is dealer? autotrader? pistonheads? top marques? any I've missed?

Thanks
Gutted

can you not get the dealer to keep it in the showroom with a for sale sign??, and pay them commission to sell it??

i'd take it off your hands mate but my wife is really keen on white and we;ve suffered with black cars in the past.

good luck though!

Hi 313bcp,

if you can change the spec and you or the dealer would take my ferrari spider in p/x then we might we able to work something out.

If you do decide to sell have you thought about specialists like Tom Hartley or Macari. Otherwise one of these car clubs might take it off your hands .....you know the ones where people pay so many thousand pounds per year for points which they can convert to driving time

Picked the car up on Monday and have decided to keep it as long as I can. You don't need me to tell you but I am anyway.

OMFG.....and I'm sticking to the run in schedule.

I also own a VW R32 (06 plate) and thought that was sticky but this car just doesn't budge. I had a ZX6R Ninja bike in my younger days ...never thought I'd get that type of acceleration in a car.

I'm still working my way through the manuals so much to learn and am only on 350 miles so have loads of fun to come!!

I didn't get the extras pack (reversing sensors, mats, etc) but am seriously thinking about it ....any views.....definitely need the sensors.

Nice one!!

Really made up for you mate, hope you can find a way to keep it long term.

Mats & sensors highly recommended.

What else comes in the extras pack or is that it?

Happy driving!

Great stuff. Glad you got it mate.

I got the mats (non carbon!) and they're good but not worth £100. No heel pad means they are wearing quite quickly from right heel. I had the chance to see a couple of cars with the reversing sensors and couldn't bring myself to have them fitted, look like warts on the lovely rear bumper but I FULLY understand why people have them.
