Hi

The question is has anyone used them with the direction running the opposite way (ie V pattern facing rear)

Why do I ask, well I've got slightly more wear on the passenger side tyres and I was hoping to swap them round with the drivers side. I wont be able to do this befor a trackday Saturday.
So obviously if its not wet do the tyres still work well running the opposite direction?
The V groove is just to dispearse the rain water?

Don't do it, a high power car can cause the tread to de laminate as it's probably actually moulded with an overlapping join. Plus the tyres performance will be reduced considerably even if it doesn't start to come apart. It's not just the tread pattern, the cords unde the tread are assymetrically biased and should be run with the designed side of the the to the outside of the car.
