I have Been looking into getting a set of these tyres only for track use twice a year ring trip, is the 285/315 setup safe to run? rolling circumference change?, and on standard alloys.

I run 265/305 4s on the road.
car is a 2015

A lot of debate regarding this particular setup. Some have a lot of issues with it. Others none at all.
The circumference difference is 2,5% which is quite a lot considering <=1% is considered OK for an AWD car.

Would love to hear more inputs.

I know somebody that runs 295 30 Cup 2 tyres on front and rear on a 17 Nismo which he uses on track over in europe regularly and believes this is an excellent set up. he does lots of track driving including using a Carrera Cup Porsche car so is experienced in track handling.

That would be fine though as the circumference is the same for both axles.

With a 2.5% difference I would think the diffs will be working harder than usual.
