I am trying to have a turbo upgrade to my N/A block engine since suggested to be easier and cheaper to an RB26 Swap so i'll take his advice and do this. I need some opinion on what kind of turbo is good for an RB25 for everyday use and occasional track use? THank you very much.. I am aiming to do this conversion on the week of Octber 7-13th. thanks..

I'm currently lookin about for an upgraded tubby myself - my choice is a hybrid turbo with full steel internals and thrust bearing or maybe a hks gtrs for 1bar+ which I imagine would be good for occasional track day and everyday use too :)
cant find the gtrs turbo at good prices anywhere tho :(

you missed 1 on ebay last week! had steel internals and 360 bearings etc and was in very good nick went for 250 quid!! i was gonna get it but had to go to work and missed it lol!

darn I saw that too - it went for 250quid wow! mind it did say it had been on the car for two years so who knows how hard its been thrashed :/

big n laggy isn't it? It'd only come on boost higher up the rev range from what I've heard (about 4krpm maybe later). Stick with a gtrs tubby - half a bar more boost over standard with minimal work to the engine (again.. from what I've read on here) ...serious power hikage for a direct tubby install :)
