Hi everybody,

Rob was a good friend of mine and since his passing I have been concentrating on positive things that I can do to help a difference for his family

I have approached many of the traders in our scene and asked them to contribute something that can in 1st instance be sold to generate some cash to Rob's funeral and once this target has been reached be donated to a trust fund for his daughter Lauren to have when she is 18

great idea but a suggestion that i guess is to late now.

Is there anyway the auctions can be run after christmas? Like maybe february?

Reason being- for one, i myself have taken a massive pay cut a few months ago and with christmas just around the corner there is no way i can afford to be buying stuff at the moment with presents ect to purchase. (i had to turn the sofa upside down and shake the spare change out of it yesterday to get some **** LOL )

Im sure there will be a few of us in the same situation as myself ?

However there are a few things there that i would love to bid on and pay more than there worth due to the circumstances of why these bits are for sale. Its just a shame that i wont be able to bid this side of christmas tho.

Also the funeral money? is this not towards rob's daughters fund? is there a separate thread for funeral funds then?

I was one of the lucky people that has ever had a photoshoot with Ian Blackett, I have to admit, totally wickid pics, and awsome guy, whoever gets that package, has a winning deal nomatter what the cost.

My question is, how many times do you see yourself standing in front of the staging lights, posing with your car?

Dream come true? Mine did.

As explained time is of the essence and i hoped some people would indeed buy some stuff especially the experiences on offer as an Xmas gift

I doubt every item will go in the 1st round of auctions so there should still be some cool stuff to bid for the 2nd time round - heck if there is something you really want i will bid on it for you and you can sort me the cash when you have it :clap:

It would be a great help if you could send me images of the clear lenses and the RRP on the stuff that Miguel has kindly donated :thumbsup:

Yes we spoke to Ian at the convoy yesterday and he explained that who ever wins the bid will have a full day photoshoot with him at pod = static shots, driving up the strip shots, shots with him in the van whilist you are driving, etc, etc

Very much appreciated mate - i had planned to do a seperate thread where forum members could offer a part they had lurking in the shed aswell as yet another where people could offer their time/service/specialist skill . For now i wanted to focus on the Trader auction .

there are 2 drift experiences on offer

1) one to one tution with me - either in your own car with tyres provided by MINT TYRES and/or in my drift prepped R32

2) Drift experience with Drift racing - high speed passenger rides and being taught the basics of drifting in one of their R32s

Both would take place at a DWYB event at Santa Pod
