I'm about to buy a new set of boots for my R33 GTR running on 9.5" wide rims.

Question - has anyone got a link to reviews or practical experience concerning the latest tyres on the market?

My essential spec is:

265/35/18
Assymetric
Occasional trackday

A flood of knowledgable opinion is welcomed.

Are you into R tyres or more into normalroad tyres?

If you want good quality road and occasional track Michelin pilot sport super are excellent. Give amazing grip on track but still nice on the road. Wear well etc... But expensive!

Track tyres are good for their purpose but compromised on road... Obviously!

Thanks for that feedback - I'll explore those tyres in more detail. At the end of the day a few more quid is not important as long as there is tangible benefit.
