I've got a R32 GTR which will end up with 500-550hp this summer. When, if "ever", will I have to change the water pump to a better one? It appears as though the N1 pump isn't an option, so which one to get if any?

Why is the N1 not an option?
A search on the topic revealed that
"The N1 pump will work fine on an R33 block and an N1 block obviously. For R32's though there is a difference in one of the mounting holes which results in it not sealing properly and leaking."

Seems as though I'll be ok with the original pump for my application? Regular reving standard bottom end wit ~500hp or so.

So it's a recomended buy for someone who wants to drive the car on tracks a lot? I assume that'll qualify as running sustained high rpm? Order one, plug the hole somehow, install it and off we go?
