I find that if I cane it the heat can make the oil break down and am worried.

I know there are many factors that contribute to the oil breaking down and losing its durability but how often should I change it?

For instance if I cook fish fingers then there are lots of particles left over that foul the oil and ruin my chips.

If I use it for just chips its ok for at least 3 months but if I use it for trackday chicken burgers and sausages it smokes alot.

I never realised it would take so much maintenence and am seriously considering selling it and buying a steamer.

What do you think?

I change mine every 3K.

Middlehurst recommend 6K, but you got to bear in mind that is for a standard car.

LOL - I'm not sure but is somebody missing the point here ?

I would recommend you BBQ - Smok'in ! :smokin:

whats the best brands of oil
ive hear mobil 1 is THE best for track
but is motul good and
ive put caSTROL GTX MAG IN MY VOLVO
(forgot caps lock)
is this good for fast road use ?

Got another table now matey - F14 Tomcat, it rocks, call me up next time you are on the Isle of Wight, we'll have to sink a few beers :)
