My car is booked in to have a apexi ecu fitted and mapped next week and i am thinking of swapping afms before.

My question is will i have any gains by using spec 1 rb25 afms over std rb26 items?

Thanks

Yes. I had RB25s fitted to my old GTR and my current one. They're the cheaper option than Z32s and flow almost as much. IIRC, a pair of RB25s will read enough airflow for around 600bhp.

are the plugs different?

when mapping on the apexi is it just as straightforward as the z32's?

If you get the right ones, they are plug & play. Mapping on PFC (after setting the AFMs correctly in the menu) is as straightforward as any other AFM.

I run a PF-C with the green label AFMs from a RB25, they plug straight in and the PF-C has a setting in the menu for them, the Q45 doesn't.

Sorry for the dumb questions but are the filter sizes the same as the rb26 as this would save me swapping filters too
