Any views on DBA club spec 4000 series discs with ferodo ds2500 pads front & rear on a R33 GTR with standard brembos - road use only.

Any vibration issues, squeal, performance etc

Thanks

Great discs for the price - I've run them on my GT-t and the GT-r, both with factory fitted calipers.

GT-t had Endless CCX pads. A little squealy when warm but otherwise no dramas.

GT-r has Endless MX72's (successor to the CCX i believe) and again, great combo with reduced squealing when warmed up.

Haven't used Ferodo pads personally but have heard good things, Paget have come highly recommended too.

i've got a brake stopper in the r and braided lines too, has really improved pedal feel :)

I have this setup and its been very good on my BNR32 on track. No fade. The car is fairly standard (1Bar on R34 turbos).

I have had 2 sets over 6 years.

I've got DBA Discs fitted to my 2.5 tonne Land Rover Discovery, and very pleased with their stopping power and lack of vibration. So much so, a set is also going onto Project Micra

I had this combo with RBF600 and braided lines on my Supercharged 350z, road and occasional track use was very impressed.
Thinking of using the same on my R35 when the time comes.

R35 DBA 5000 T3 are good discs works well on track for majority of people who knows how to drive. Know a few people in the USA who have had good results with these on track in their R35s. These people can drive!

If you have bad braking technique and out unecessary heat into them of course they will warp. Same can be said for Alcon but of course one wouldn't be able to boast down at the local pub about their new Alcon discs or their £11k superkit.

I used to have these on my R33 GTR. They were great for road use but I found they weren't up to the job when used for long periods on track.
I ended up upgrading to a larger size disc with 8 pot calipers to help dissipate the heat. In honesty, I didnt have huge expectations of the K sport kit but they actually work very well. Also a HUGE amount cheaper than many other options like Alcon as mentioned above.
