Hi there

I'm currently in the market for a R33 GTR with as close to the following spec, been looking since around March / April time and came close to getting one in August only to be messed around by a dealer after being strung along for 6 weeks.

I'm checking all the usual sources daily for something close to what I'm after but it's just been the same 15 or so motors up for sale for what seems like forever, so I thought I'd try my luck here to see if I could tempt anyone into selling up?

Anybody got something close to this...

Midnight purple with low mileage
Standard looking bodywork with maybe nismo rear spats & 400r sideskirts
Minimal rust underneath / strut tops / rear arches
High spec 600bhp approx
HKS 2.8 step 2 stroker kit
Good response car with low lag
Fully forged and sorted throughout with all supporting mods
Interior to look as close to stock as possible (no gauges drilled / bolted to dash)

I'm in the position to buy straight out or if anyone's interested I've got a Type-R Impreza as a part ex (plus cash your way)

Is this something you guys could help me with?

Engine currently out for fully forged rebuild , avail early 2017 for straight sale no p/x thanks.

Bride seat long gone replaced with series 3 seat to match passenger side .
apart from that, and an engine that failed it looks same as in the link.
Spec wise fully loaded inc Cusco ARB, rollcentre adjusters, HKS coilovers, factory HID lamps , fully retained A/C , and a freshy built fully forged engine with CP pistons 8.5:1 @ 0.50mm oversize , Manley rods, N1 oilpump , Supertech spline drive conversion for oil pump , tomei poncam A, Tomei sump baffle and head oil feed control restrictor, nismo twin plate coppermix clutch and matching flywheel , ported cylinder head/manifolds etc, large thermostatic oil cooler and remote filter take off kit.

All fully balanced as a rotating assy and retained with ARP fasteres where required.

I bought it a winter project from a liquidation auction with a blown engine , I have all the Jap documentation for servicing over there from new , plus a wad of reciepts in the UK including an engine refresh and dyno tuning ( kinda irellevant now ) car came from Chiba prefecture and arrived in late 2014 via NewEra imports and was sold to Gent in Portsmounth iirc

Pricewise will be north of 20K+ once finished, prices have certainly firmed up , final price will be determined by market value once shes a runner again. bodywork is immaculate, needs front bumper touched up ( large stone chip ) and a really good detail

I'm in no rush to sell TBH , happily keep 2 skylines but if you have then need, then I'll help ya fill it :thumbsup:

I was just looking at that, I wondered who brought the car.

Good buy, I loved the original will look out for it in the new year all finished.

Stiggy - not a 2.8 but it could be worth being patient for this one!

Cheers Alex , almost went 2.8 but prefer the shorter stroke 2.6 for overall response and felt OEM+ was the way to go .

Only the bare block and girdle , plus head and valves have been retained from the 1st rebuild , all gallery plugs removed and whole thing dipped and stripped of all debris before starting again .

Lovely car/colour combo defo, shame the engine failed due to an oil surge issue , I do feel for the original buyer
