There is probably a very simple answer to this, that I have overseen, but:

Why don't people use fuel injectors and fuel pumps for water injection? Both injectors and pumps are avaiable in a whole lot of different sizes to suit any need.
Pumps would easily be able to accomodate 75+ psi at these flow rates, and all kinds of controllers are aviaiable to control the injectors.

An Monotronic injector (or similar) would be ideal for pre-compressor injection...

Any thoughts?

Hardly any fuel pumps and 99% of injectors wo't tolerate water, they just rust up. The pressure needed to atomise water correctly through a suitably sized jet is above that at which most fuel pumps run a simialr flow.
