I think it was when my dads mate bought a ferrari and went out for a play, when he came back he said he lost to a nissan, later I found out if was a skyline. Started reconising them on the road and then see a 34 on 2fast 2 furious. :smokin:

I crashed my Pulsar and I'd just got the money together for a Motec, plus bouns from work. I though I'd get another Pulsar, but for 10k your were looking at at 450hp one with everything done, there were hard to come by so I though Skyline was the next logical choice

LOL

I bid on it not expecting to actually win the auction in Japan. Imagine my shock when I had. I didn't really want one at the time. I already has a GTSt..:squintdan

When I was getting old and still hadn't owned a car with more than 200bhp - I just said "fcuk it" one day (remember it well) and got one imported from Japan by Newera.

Ive always wanted one and just took the plunge a 3weeks ago now and have never looked back!!
The fever probably started properly after watching the fast + the furious! But I started working with Shakey Finch on here with his R34 GTR, he took me out in it and then i knew i had to get one. Just looks like a skyline tuners in the company car park lol!:chuckle:

Hehe - John Fuggles letting me drive his R33 GTR 1 hour after meeting him at a rather salibrious gin-joint.
I HAD to have one after that....

ive always liked my fast but not overly expensive cars. tried a cossie, an m3, few starions, scooby but i saw and drove an r32 and that was it. coupled with the ease of getting 500bhp on standard internals/box etc i dont think theres anything as good for the money. mine has tanabe fast road coilovers and the handling is amazing. theres some good specialists and a wealth of info on here, what more could you want:thumbsup:

so far so good anyway!!!!!!

After I sold my evo to a Swedish dude, I went up to a garage to look at a Veilside 600bhp tuned supra but when I got there after nearly 2 hour drive I didnt looked at the Supra I end up looking at the Midnight purple GTR33 sitting proudly in the corner, which there and then I took out for a test drive and rest is history!!! :D

After owning an Imperial Blue Escort Cosworth for 4 years I saw a Bayside Blue R34 and knew that's the only way forward for me. I then sold the Cosworth & went without a fast car for 18 months, during that time I purchased the reg. number 'SKY 1T' & I knew I had to get a Skyline to complete the combination, so I worked like a slave to buy the car.:squintdan (bearing in mind it was 3 times more money than the old Cosworth it seemed like a very large upgrade of car at the time!)

After searching high & low for a Bayside Blue one that was to my taste I came across my MP II & have never regreted not getting a Bayside coloured one. ;)

I went to a GTI-R gathering in Southend one Saturday night - and was shown "TOKYO" by Glen ... from that day onwards I wanted to own a Skyline. Took me a fair amount of time after that to actually get one.....

Mark from Abbey's was on a mission to find me the cleanest 32 he could - and I ended up buying one from one of Marks relatives.

My missus made me get mine. :chairshot

I was gonna buy a Supra. :nervous:
Snap - I was looking for a Scooby & the gf spotted my R33 GTR with dragon stickers on it and made me buy it
(I've removed the stickers now, but she's already sold - the seats are big enough for her to curl up in & the suspension gently rocks her to sleep - acceleration hurts her neck when she's looking at me, but I've told her to keep her eyes on the road :chuckle:
I've put her on the insurance, but she's a bit chicken and hasn't had a go yet :runaway:)

I'd heard about them & read about them for quite a few years.
After 18 years of company cars, then changed job so had a runabout for a couple of years.
Then, after a decent year end bonus, and a midlife crisis moment, I thought **** it, you only live once.
What I love the most TBH is the subtlety about it.
Not many people know what they're looking at, and then they're always amazed when you tell them what it can do.
Ferraris, Porkies etc all scream - I'm really fast. Well my car is fast too, but it's not in your face about it.
