Hi what sensor is this and what does it do? Its on the intake manifold. I took it and gave it a clean.

In my quest looking for a boost problem I pulled this plug out on idle and it made no difference to the idling of the car.
Any ideas?

The right hand fuel line behind that sensor sprunk a leak twice last week, drove me nuts until I put in a hose that looks like it can take 100bar pressure
