I'm after some alloys for my R33 Gtr and wondered the best size to fill the arches really. At present I have 18s 275/35/ not sure what J size would be best as I've not foggiest
Depends what you want to do with your car but for the road I think 19's look good, I have 19 * 10.5 with 275/30 but they do rub on the inner arches on full lock.
Go for 19's with low profile tyres or 18's with something like a R888 in a slightly higher profile. Both 9.5" wide and a profile something in the region of 12.
Both would look good in slightly different ways. Its your choice.
On all my R32 Gtr's ive owned and R33 Gtr's ive owned ive ran 18" 9.5"-10" width and et 12 or 15. none ever scrubbed even lowered on coilovers, But I did run 265 or 255 width tyres. Hope that helps, Cheers. Chris.
Ideal size for an R33 is 18x10 et12. You can either go 265 or 275/35/18 on types. Both these profiles work well.
