the only upside is the speed the car gets up to operating temp. I usually have a 10 min warm up period but its less than half that in this weather but the downside is it takes a lot of steady off boost pootling before shutting it off.vennuth said:My oil was sitting at 90 today (with oil cooler fitted) whilst driving normally and after a little play I hit 110 (degrees - mph was no way near that), which is really high for the new car.
The water also got to temperature from 'cold' in under 2 minutes!
leggus said:Yes i was wondering if anybody else had any thoughts on this, was coming home from Stratford on Sunday, motorway, 70 mph and oil temp was highest ive ever seen it... (No oil cooler fitted)
