Unless you got some very good reps from people on here, I would avoid buying anything like that (ie: a piece of kit that, if not perfect, will probably be useless) from anyone other than a "recognised supplier".

Only my opinion though.

Do they likes of Abbey Motorsport or other performance specialists on this site supply the parts I'd need to start modding my R34 GTT. I dont want to go down the Ebay route and would rather take the car to a company where they do everything under the one roof so to speak. I am over in Ireland but would travel to UK for the right company who could sort me out.

Also who is this "Rod Bell" I've seen so much about on this forum?Where is he based?

There are quite a few reputable tuners/suppliers on this forum & Abbey gets a lot of positive press.
Use the search button & explore peoples' comments.
Rod Bell is based in Mawdsley, which is near Chorley in Lancashire.
Hope this helps.

Abbey are very good and strongly support this forum, RB are also very reputable guys as is RK tuning and of course GTart.
Sumo are a very good source of parts and body kits and Envy also supply good parts. There are lots of people that support this forum and have high regard from their customers..US. Just keep searching until you find exactly what you want. Ring around and go for what you feel is good customer relations and service. By then you'll be 99% sorted.

seems a decent bit of kit, dont know why people so sceptical sometimes, but thats good business for the big name tuners.

i dont know prices for a front facing inlet like that from anywhere else, but i bet its at least double that if its got some JDM-tyte badge on it, so i know where id go if i needed one...

It looks like a chinese copy of a GReddy RB25 plenum to me. Its about half the price of a genuine GReddy plenum too.

Its probably worth a punt but I'd put aside some money in case you need to have the plenum to head face machined flat.
Make sure that it comes with a comprehensive fitting kit. The GReddy plenum comes with all the various screw-in tubes for vacuum connections and breather pipes and all studs and nuts. If it doesn't come with a fitting kit you'll need to splash out on those bits and pieces.

To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the GReddy plenum when I got mine. It needed a reasonable amount of fettling before I was happy with it.

This is the GReddy manifold for you to compare it too :

Actually, having just looked at that plenum again, none of the mating faces appear to be machined so you'll almost certainly need to get them machined flat unless you try and diy it.

Something else you need to be aware of is that the plenum is designed to use the large 80mm throttlebody of the US market Nissan Infinity Q45. You can buy them on E-bay for £75 to £120 depending on condition.

If you want to keep the standard RB25 throttle body then GReddy make an adaptor kit that allows you to bolt it onto the plenum although I'm not sure if you can use your R34GTT throttlebody on it. I think the GTT has traction control which uses a valve in the throttle body so it may not fit.

NO.

Well, not unless you want a rebuild on piston number 6....
