Did the 1989 or 1990 R32 GT-R meet the requirements for regular registration in the UK at the time of production ?

I also thought that middlehurst imported a batch of 32s.
As Andy did campaign the 32 in british motorsport.
They might have been brought in under competition only registration though.
As mentioned its probably best to send them an E-mail enquiry.

The first UK registered one I saw was late in 1990 - early 1991, so therein, I think, lies the answer to your question.

I don't think any were officially imported, which is why some insurers don't do them - no UK model to base it on.

I think Janspeed were the first to import the 32`s but not sure how many.
"Ross" still has one of them, he maybe able to give you an idea.

And I think that Hodgie is right. Andy Middlehurst was driving for Janspeed along with Keith O'dor who's father owned Janspeed.

Middlehurst Nissan took over the mantle after the R33 was launched.
