getting a GTR33 soon (I hope) and...

I live in Worcestershire and will be needing to know the nearest, but recommended, place to take my car for it's 'TLC'.

Is there any where near me worth a mention, or is better to go the extra mile to seek out those special people?

All offers of advice will be warmly appreciated.

I don't know anywhere near you personally but it will be worth taking it to someone that really knows Skylines rather than some "performance tuner" locally.

From personl previous nightmarish experiences I'd suggest travelling a little further afield to use a specialist that some of the more experienced members of this forum could reccomend. This is likely to save you money in the long run as things are usually sorted out properly the first time round.

Nissan dealers are fine if your car is entirely standard or they will have troubles with parts they haver seen nor heard of, but bear in mind that if it is an import certain parts are labelled up in japanese and can cause problems for wiring purposes. Whereas specialists will know their way around the whole of the car.

I would also be wary of any garage that has never dealt with Skylines before as things can go badly wrong and cost a fortune to fix remedy the 'mistake' - again experienced members on this forum could probably point you in the right direction.

I think I ought to point out that these views are based on personal experiences of garages in my area so it may be a little different for where you live.
