Is there any reason why this is blanked off on my R33 GTR?

Im running twin blitz bov setup and this pipe is blanked off (see pics)

If im right, then originally that blanked pipe would attach onto the BOV location, so there would be no bov is that right?

Yeah, it's the recirc pipe work. If you didn't have the aftermarket valves then this pipe would connect to the standard recircs

That looks like the plastic recirc pipe which connects back round to the turbo inlet, its blocked to stop any leakage i suspect.

Thank's chaps, If I were to upgrade to aftermarket pipework + intercooler I could get rid of this correct?

Yes but there's no need to afaik and it's difficult to replace if you ever wanted to go back to standards.

I'm not going to pay like £400 for some pipes like HKS etc, I will have some custom welded, along with a new intercooler.
