Hey, I have a quesiton and I was hoping someone could help answer it for me.

I have the PLX Devices M250 wideband O2 sensor and gauge, and would like to install it in my GTR.

PLX Devices Inc. - M Series Controllers

I have three options:

I can weld a bung in the exhaust somewhere.

I can remove one of the stock O2 sensors and put it in there (don't know what this will do) and only run one stock O2.

or

This link to a PDF file, says that you can install it in a stock O2 location and wire it up to the OEM ECU and have it work like stock.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks guys.

David.

I have a PLX R-500 and you can run a configurable 'narrowband emulator' output back to your factory ecu and run the wideband sensor in the stock location.

A lot of de-cat pipes also include a lambda sensor bung, mine is fitted in a bung fitted to the HKS downpipes.

Hey Gareth, thanks for the response.

Question for you (or anyone else for that matter), is the stock o2 output voltage between 0-1v?

And.. will a check engine light come on if the stock o2 heater wire is not connected?

Thanks for any help you can offer, I really appreciate it.
