Whats involved in the swap, I know the speedo is different, (Rb20 is mechanical, RB25 is electric), how do you get round these? No worry if you don't want to adviseThe engine will bolt straight in but you still need to do wiring mods and a couple of hoses etc, not a big job though.
theres a 10ml m8 bolt that retains the speedo drive in the gearbox. undo it and swap it with the cable drive from your older rb20 box.Sorry, just reread my post, I'll be fitting an RB26, but it's the RB25 gearbox I'm thinking of, as the speedo drive is electrical, how do I convert the electrical drive on the box, to mechanical on the car?
