Yep agree, just the rears are the way forward.Current regs https://www.gov.uk/tinted-vehicle-window-rules
The front windows already have a slight tint as standard so even if you add a very light tint you will go over the legal limit I think.
I used to have my fronts 25% but at night i felt it was too dark so got them taken off.
Thanks Paul, wish you wasn't so far away as your reputation is very good on this forum.not sure if it helps lads but just to throw some terminology in for you
a tint film is measured in vlt which stands for visual light transmission
the higher the number the lighter the film
so a 50% film would be what we class as a light film blocking 50 %
a 35% film is medium blocking 65%
a 20% film is dark blocking 80%
and 5% black out or limo black blocking 95%
the standard front window coloration gives a vlt of 74%
the law on this matter states that the driver and passenger window should have a minimum of 70% vlt and the windscreen 75%
basically your allowed to tint the front 30% but from the factory they are already 26%
