You got washer fluid in there Barry?

Bloody hell Daz, I never thought it could be that
But actually it was a knackered pump, got a new one from the local motor factors £26 incl. VAT, took about 90 mins to swap over, it's now squirting like a 13yr old boys first visit to the Youporn site. :chuckle:

Well, as we get older our mind does tend to work less well ... :D

Good deal on the pump though. Is it another one of those items that is borrowed from a Micra?
Yes, same pump on most Nissans, had it in stock at the local motor factors. Would probably have cost a bit more if I had rung an NHPC and asked for a pump for a R35. I think I'll probably do that out of curiosity.

Just carried out this repair myself - thanks Barry, you were spot on! The part I bought from eBay wasn't off a Micra however, it was a Nissan Navara Pickup. From the photos of the plug, some of the Micra ones appeared to have a different pair of contacts.

For the avoidance of doubt, here is the part I purchased and fitted, £21.99 including postage!

Front Windscreen Washer Pump Nissan Navara Pick up D22 2001 through to 2005

Incidentally for those looking for the fuse first, it's not the one for the headlamp Washer (45A) but the 10A one in the IPDM.

Hi guys, bringing this thread back to life, I’ve just noticed that my drivers side (off side) headlight washer is not working whilst the passenger side is working perfectly! I can tell this as she stationary with Xenons on and a tug of the windscreen washer lever the near side headlamp washer squirts very powerfully with liquid being obviously left all of the lamp and bonnet where as the drivers side headlamp is dry with liquid dribbling down the bumper to the lip. Seems as if the washer jet has a problem,

Would this be pump related which sits close to the engine with the access from the wheel arch or headlamp
wasger related where it’s a bumper off or the cover off?
Unsure what to do....

Thanks in advance for help

The washer bottle is located on the nsf behind wheel arch liner

You will see three plugs around the bottle from memory

One for fluid level, can***8217;t really sea much of this.

White pump for windscreen washer jet

Black, biggest pump of all for headlight washer jet.

There***8217;s a pipe that splits of ns washer jet to osf so check that connection and the pipe runs through front bumper bar and connects to osf washer jet, check connection there.

Good luck

Windshield washer hose

Hey guys! I'm new to the site and have a 2008 R35 Black Edition. I am currently looking for a windshield washer hose, but can't seem to find any online auto parts stores that have parts for the JDM GT-Rs. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
