Yes - a small increase in power/torque up to 4.5k but thereafter a drop-off of a similar amount - all assuming your car is unmapped that is.

A mapped car can be set up more aggressively with a Y pipe due to the removal of 2 of the 4 cats.

So why have them then mate if it only needs 2 cats?
Who the f... knows, but is does.

A tech from an HPC MOT emission tested a y-pipe car last year and it passed.

Been posted on here when all of us non-nav early arrivals ummed and arred about y-pipes.
