Since I am doing some R&D for Bullseye Power I wanted to know what is your current motor displacement and is it with uprated internals or what is your next motor setup (if you know for sure).

Please pick a bottom end and head option

I currently am asking RIPS to build me a 3.0, but during the in between time I will be building another motor for R&D. I will try to do as much turbo comparisions as possible (this is out of my pocket) against the Bullseye Power Turbos to see what will flow better.

Any input would be appreciated.

I've got a complete head, an empty block, and an oil pan left over from my rebuild. I figure my current refreshed engine should last me at least long enough for me to bore it out to 2.8, collect and install forged internals, and work on the head - basically my idea of a dream engine. Hopefully I'll be able to build it myself as well - that would be enormously satisfying.

.8 bar of boost by 3800 rpm.Boost controller to follow.

I hear on the grape vine they're working on a 3.4

HKS 0.5 overbore pistons going in on the 6th....so 2.7. Wish I could swing the 2.8 but it's not in the cards this time around, plus all the N1 blocks I used to see everyday went AWOL

It'll be standard rods/crank/head and T517z's 8cm.


How have the turbo comparison's been coming, if at all?

My ideal spec would be: R32 block, R33 crank, head from either, forged pistons, uprated conrod bolts, uprated bearing shells, Tomei Poncams, stock exhaust manifold, hard pipes, stock FMIC, GT-SS turbos, and supporting mods.

Will look at the Tomei complete engine offered to me tomorrow - sounds groovy. bad luck, but then good luck:squintdan

it did haha,the n1 oil pump failed.

i now have a jun one fitted and all is well.(6 bar hot and 4 bar cold)

christ, that's not confidence-inspiring, as my oil pump is an N1. How long did it last before it broke?
