Hi,

Does anyone know if a Z32 AFM can be fitted to a RB25 series 2 engine? The Z32 has 4 wires where as the RB25 AFM on my series 2 engine only has 3?
Thanks for any help.

yes its pretty simple, 2 of the wires from the Z32 are earths they connect together to the earth of the series 2 pigtail

but before you start have you got an after market ECU so you can change the AFM setting to read a Z32?? as they are a different voltage

No, I've just got the standard ECU. Can the standard ECU be remapped or am I best just going for an aftermarket one?

When you are fitting a Z32 in place of the 3 pin afm you need to earth one pin to the chassis as the Z32 has 2 earths.

We can remap the standard ecu but unless you are fitting a bigger turbo the standard AFM will be fine.
