At what point are the 80mm Z32 MAFs absolutely necessary in an engine build? like, what boost level/hp, etc? I'm also curious...the Nismo MAFs as far as I can figure are 72mm, same as stock, but can measure higher airflows...so increased diameter by itself isn't critical, just the ability to measure greater airflow? In terms of upgrade order, it seems to be to be like this:
1) fuel system
2) turbos
3) intakes
But if the ability to measure higher airflows is critical to support any turbo upgrades, then #2 and #3 need to be reversed...but are the stock MAFs really that limited?
btw in my case everything is run by a Power FC Pro.
