I wouldn't recommend it. I put one on my car last week, and was a little hesitant about it upon noticing the anti-drainback flappy thing inside the filter. I don't like the look of it being something the oil pressure has to overcome. It may be just my imagination, or been there all along but the RB now sounds a little bit tappy for one second on hot start up. It seems to me like having this flap in the HKS filter has added a latency in the build-up of pressure when starting the engine.
I'll be fitting a Nissan filter ASAP to see if it's any better. That and the HKS filter being smaller means that there's likely less surface area inside for the oil to be forced through, meaning more of a pressure drop over a bigger standard filter.
