Hi guys!!!
Just have a bit of clarification needed. Does replacing my brakes w/ bigger brembo ones need a change also of my brake master cylinder? If so what should I use? I have a Zenki 32 by the way non v-spec.

Thanks in advance guys!

You could put on an R33 GTR brake master on, as the bias is correct for the brembo's they came with as standard. I know I am going to when I put R33 brembo's on my R32 ;)
That's nice to hear. :) The R33 brembos are bolt on anyways right unlike the 34. As for the brake master, can I also use the R34 ones? Is it also a bolt on? And does that brake master still ok if used w/ F50 or the Gran Turismo brakes by Brembo?

Changing the master cylinder will change the ratio and thus require less pedal effort to get the same effect. I would recommend a master cylinder upgrade and I'd also recommend the master cylinder brace. Certainly my favourite upgrades so far.

If you're fitting the Brembos you'll need to drain the fluid etc so it's hardly a big hassle changing the master cylinder also.
Will that be a straight bolt on Cris? And is the Vspec 32, R33 and R34 all use the same bigger brake master? I'm planning on doing this since my GTR brembos will be coming soon, and so I'll also know what to specific brake master model I can use. :)

Thanks Thanks for tips guys!

Direct bolt on - yes!

Not 100% sure about Vspec R32 - I have a vague memory of there being a odd thing on that front. It lack of ABS rings a bell so it might have just been the N1 cars. Perhaps best to check that one.

R33/34 both yes.

I think the Stagea too

99.99% that a Z32 TT would have the larger ratio too - could be a good source as parts for them seem to be pretty cheap. Interestingly they run almost the same brake set-up as the R32 (rear is identical, front is smaller slightly thinner discs with slightly thinner callipers but the same pads) but use the bigger ratio. Can't think why Nissan used the smaller ratio on the R32 GTRs unless it just happened to be the same as other R32s but I thought that they were 2 pot callipers....

NB get the master cylinder in in good time ahead of the works. I got ripped off by an ebay seller who never posted his. When your car is in pieces you don't want to be chasing up muppets! Not that I'm bitter..................
Oh sad to hear about the ebay stuff... So I think I'll just get myself the R34 BM. As for the brake lines are they interchangeable? I guess I have to get the ones for the Vspec 32,33, and 34 brembos too huh.

And I think GT-R Glenn is also right about the pedal behavior when changing to bigger BMs.

I was just thinking about getting some 355mm rotors and using my R33 brembo calipers, just make some adapters to space them out ... mmmm
Ill have to wait till I can walk again tho .....
Yes that's also good, they do that in Japan a lot of times as well especially w/ their jdm brake brand biot w/c sells "offset kits" w/ different sizes front and rear. :smokin:

got an address ?
Hers's the link mate Biot@Brake Offset Kit Lineup@-ƒuƒŒ[ƒLƒIƒtƒZƒbƒgƒ‰ƒCƒ“ƒiƒbƒv-. They do great brake products, and very nice looking too. They can even do multiple bell housing color for your car theme. And oh they also sell the Brembo Caliper kit from F50s, Lotus, 6 pot, GTR 8 pot, etc. You can get this thru jdm product dealer. :)

I was kinda looking on one of their offset kit, the set w/c enable us handle the bigger late production rear rotors from BNR34- 322 sized rotors.
