lol Thanks :)

But this is what i mean, most insurance companies are not as flexible and willing to take into account the individuals situation.. They just blindly base everything on the Age or no claims bonus.. I felt so offended that people at Keith Micheals basically told me to F*** off when i told them i was 21.. They didnt even wanna speak to me or at least help try to insure me..

My current insruance company 'AON specialist car insurance' were great.. They understood my situation, i explained to them my current driving experience and why i had 0 no claims bonus (Becuase my previous insurance was a fleet insurance policy that did not give me any no claims bonus, despite the fact that i was driving a number of different cars for a good 4 years) Soon after i had a great premium fully insured, and then i moved all my other cars insurance to them..

Anyway im not trying to make KM look bad in anyway, im sure they are great with GTR owners + other modified cars but i still feel that flexibility is a good thing in this business.. Im speaking out of experience as I happen to own a very specialist insurance company in Dubai.. We insure all types of vehicles and are based around factoring in individual clients needs that other companies would not.. Also, out here we insure the car rather than the individual.. So once a car is insured, anyone can drive.. Much better system imo..

HI Hashlak,

First off apologies for how you feel you were treated by our guys, we never intend to make anyone feel like they’re being fobbed off. There could have been a number of different reasons for why we couldn't find you a policy. However, you must understand that age can be a very prohibitive factor when brokering insurance policies.

If you wanted me to find out some more information on why we couldn't help you PM me your full name and contact details and I'll get someone to do some digging. Either way, sorry we couldn’t help you find an appropriate solution to your issue.

Thanks,

Matt”

I contacted you guys last week but never got a reply.

My turn to try you guys again, I was insured with before a few years ago so nothing has changed except the usual aging relating things.

Already had a specialist company on here say no to me, lets see what you can do for me.

For purposes of feedback I found more urgency with other providers and went with Pace Ward in the end. I didn't even get close to discussing an actual quote with you guys.

Hi Matt, nice to see Keith Michaels on here, I'm thinking about coming back to you for a quote (not for a few months yet) because I've found dealing with the comparison sites is not ideal for me.

If you want some feedback, I was actually with you for quite a few years, at one point I had 3 cars insured with you at the same time and you kindly mirrored my NCB on all 3.

Anyway, I used to deal with Gary Ham'.. but when I tried to contact him after swapping to a GT-R, he simply would not call me back, to the extent that it proved imposible to get hold of him. I left many messages, some with other staff who said they would get him to call me, but still nothing, so of course after about a week I eventually gave up very disappointed and went elsewhere, which was a shame because I couldn't fault the service prior to that, it was so easy to transfer my insurance to my next car with you guys, instead of taking out a whole new policy on the comparison sites. I do miss that.

Good luck with business on here, apart from the incident above I can vouch that the rest of my experience was positive.

Hi Trevgtr,

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch. I apologise that you had such a negative experience with us that led to you going elsewhere. I can't comment on your particular incident but I can assure you we are constantly looking to streamline our customer service procedures to prevent things like this from happening.

At the same time thank you for sharing that the rest of your experience was positive. When the time comes for you to get a re-quote on your insurance policy feel free to PM me on here and I will forward to your information on to the relevant department. If there's anything else I can help with in the mean time just let me know.

Thanks,

Matt
