hi i want to put a r34gtr engine in my r32gtr and i know the cas sensor is not the same. for the coilpack thing i will buy splitfire for a r32 and my igniter is new so i will be ok on this side. i will ditch the hicas so no prob with the ps pump.

question #1 : can i just fit a r34 cas sensor connector to my r32 harness?

question #2 : do other connector need to be change to fit on my r32 harness?

question #3 : if a buy a aftermarket ecu like pfc d-jetro, would i need to buy the one for a r34 or the one for the r32 ( i think r32 if i keep my r32 harness but not sure because i dont know if the r34 cas reading have something to do in this)

question #4 : do i need to know something else to fit a r34gtr engine in a r32gtr?

all answer are welcome! thanks!

The best way to do it is to use your original wiring harnesses and the just swap the cas wiring over on the CAS plug. The plugs are the same.

Use your coils and wiring/amp pack and when you go to get a aftermarket ecu just buy a R32/33 item. You will need to swap the front diff over or it maybe easier to just fit the original R32 sump/diff.

The diff ratio on R34 is different regardless of transmission. You will need to fit a R34 rear or change the front in your replacement unit to a R32 spec.

The 6 speed is a nice upgrade, you will need a few parts to make it fit, though (crossmember, propshafts, something to make the speedo function, etc)

hey jdmchrist, did you manage to intall r34 coil pack harness for your new engine?
I've just installed r34 engine on my r32, but having trouble of getting the right parts for removing my old r32 ignition coils and replace with new split fire coil packs.

Should I get 34 splitfire coils pack to be wired with r34 coil pack harness and remove the old power transistor? Thanks bro

for me i will order a set of splitfire coilpack for a r32 gtr and a new r32 gtr coilpack harness because i've changed my ignitor for a new one 2 month before my engine have blown so i will keep it.

for your question i dont have the answer... you should try to find someone that i've done before what you want to do..

does your car is running now??

does you have any tip for me to fitting a r34 gtr engine in a r32 gtr???

thanks!

ok. fitting r32 ignition coil pack harness and with r32 coils is not quite my option.. since I intend to get rid of those plus the aluminium annoying thingy (power transistor) on the engine.
But thanks anway.

I have installed a stock r34 engine with 5 speed gearbox... well... to be honest, i don't really worry about the gear ratio since the engine is completely stock

Thanks
