Just about every time i drive the car when i get her home and back into the garage i notice another couple of stone chips which is driving me mad:chairshot

Car is just so seceptable to them its unreal....seem to find, other than the front bumper which now has a couple as expected, that the rear wheel arch lips seem to pick them up too. Am i just being unlucky here or do you guys find the rear arch lips chip up easily?

Have bought some stone chip protection film which i think i will try and cover the arch lips / inners with in an attempt to stop this. i know they are inevitable really but anything that stems the flow has to be a good thing....save me going over the car with my Dr Colorchips kit every other weekend:chairshot

The GTR is the worst I have ever come across, it's a stone magnet, mine is black and I've put black vinyl wrap on the rear arches to protect it, the front bumper I'll just respray when it gets too bad, I had ventureshield on the full bonnet and bumper and removed it as it just didn't look good, at least the wrap on the rear arches is not very noticeable, the gloss black is actualy a perfect match for the Kuro black

Yeah wrapping would but I keep swaying between a wrap and re spray when the time comes. I love the waxed surface and think I would miss it under a wrap but then I hate the stone chips....torn!

im gonna get mine wrapped by the man above soon as like you im sick of getting little chips and touching them up
was gonna go for a chrome finish but mr p pro talked me out of it (honesty was much appreciated_)
at least the wrap protects the paint and stops the possibility of any rust forming (especially in the winter)

was thinking of plastidip myself, but cant bring myself to try it on the gtr
think il do a pulsar first and see how that come out.
